Until you’ve explored a brilliant coral reef, you haven’t experienced one of the greatest joys of nature in the South Pacific. While one cannot walk through pristine forests due to a lack of paths, it’s quite possible to swim over untouched reefs. Coral reefs are the most densely populated living space on earth–the rainforests of the sea!

It’s wise to bring along a high quality mask you’ve checked thoroughly beforehand as there’s nothing more disheartening than a leaky, ill-fitting mask. Otherwise dive shops throughout the region sell or rent snorkeling gear, so do get into the clear, warm waters around you.
